Bubbles, Bombs, Pampering!

Hello! I personally have been going through ALOT this last month and i have found myself going through so many emotions and facing so much and finding no where to turn to so this month i have taken quite a few pampering days. In this blog post i will go threw and explain the process as well as the products i used in my moments of insanity.

Step One: I boil some water on the stove top and place a towel around my head and the pot, allowing the steam to hit my face. This opens my pores and really allows my skin cleaners to do a fantasic job at getting out the dirt, oil, and make up from the day.

Step Two: Step into a steamy hot shower and apply a exfoiliater to face (I use St. Ives Invigorating Apricot Scrub). I use circular motions on my face for about 3 minutes (in those three minutes I am washing my hair)

Step Three: In this particular step, i treat my hair and clease my hair. Its not an everyday thing just a once a week occasion, i use a dandruff shampoo (Head & Shoulders Green Apple 2-in-1 Dandruff Shapoo and Conditioner)(I dont have an issue with dandruff but i did when i was younger and so i like to treat for it so i dont have it again-sounds silly but in the middle of class when we got a lice check it was embarrassing when the nurse asked if i had dandruff.) and a cleansing shampoo (Aussie Confidently Clean Shampoo) (I sometimes use products in my hair and after a while those products can build up in your hair and actually make your hair look greasy so going in with a clarifying shampoo about once a week whille get rid of that build up). I mix half and half and work into a lather by massaging the shampoo into the scalp (massaging into the scalp with help your hair grow faster).

Step Four : I rinse my face from the exfoliarter and apply a cleanser in circular motion (my cleanser changes alot because my face gets used to the formula and stops working, i have acne and whatever cleanser i use MUST contain Salicylic Acid, which is good for sensitive skin as well, a few i really like are: Avon Clearskin Blackhead Eliminating Daily Cleanser {if you have alot of blackheads i recommend this alot because it has cleared up most of the blackheads on my face within 2 washes}, Noxzema Original Deep Cleansing Cream {This doesnt have Salicylic Acid in it but its one of those miricle workers, this is going to burn but when all else fails on my face i know noxzema will help clear up my face in no time!}, and Neutogena Acne Treatment Oil-Free Acne Wash (i have stolen this from my mom several times, she loves it because she has oily skin and the oils get traped and clog her pores and she gets awful acne, she swears by this and i like it as well). I let this sit on my face for about 3 minutes as well (while i condition my hair)

Step Five: I rinse my hair from the shampoo and apply my moisturizing shampoo in Circular motions to the scalp and on the rest of my hair as well, Suave Professionals Almond and Shea Butter, i swear by this. My hair is ringlet curly and gets tangled in no time! I have used the Shampoo and Conditioner for about 2 years now and i still love it.

Step Six: I rinse my face once again and this time apply my face mask, the skin is exfoliated, and cleansed. Depending on what my skin may need, or what i feel up to decides my mask for the night. A few i have laying around are Avon Clearskin Blackhead Eliminating Deep Treatment Mask, Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque, Freeman Feeling Beautiful Revealing Peel Off Facial Mask, and Freeman Feeling Beautiful Facial Anti Stress Mask, Dead Sea Minerals. This step will carry on over later in post.

Step Seven: I rinse my hair and apply a deep conditioner to the hair from where my chin begins to the ends, depending on the damage of my hair decides my hair mask a few i like are Aussie 3 Minute Miricle, Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque, L'Oreal Paris Advanced Haircare Total Repair 5 Damage-Erasing Balm, Organtix Moroccan Argan Oil Renewing Treatment, and Neutrogena Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Hair Mask. Clip hair up. This step will carry on over later in the post.

Step Eight: I get out of the shower and wrap myself into a towel, hair and face mask still on. I will then run hot water and fill the bathtub with water, i love adding little things to my bath again depending on my mood and how i feel is what i put in, if i am taking a bath just before bed i will add Bath and Body Works Aromatherapy Lavender Vanilla Bath Soak, Body Wash and Foam Bath and Luxury Bath, if im taking a bath when im stressed i will add Bath and Body Works Aromatherapy Eucalyptus Tea Body Wash and Foam Bath, Luxury Bath, and Bath Soak, if i am taking a girly-girl bath i will add Avon Naturals Vanilla Cream Bubble Delight Bubble Bath, Avon Skin SO Soft soft and sensual Bath Oil, and Espsom Salts, if im taking a bath and im in a bit of pain i will add epsom salts and thats it. I have a ton of bubble baths, bath salts, bath bombs, and bath melts so its what i feel like really.

Step Nine: Get in the warm luxurious tub, let feet get wet and then i will apply Avon Foot Works Healthy Exfoilating Moisture Mask and prop feet up and lay back... Relax. I stay in the bathtub for about 30 minutes or until water is cold.

Step Ten: Once im ready to get out i allow the water to drain, turn the shower on (Hot and steamy), and rinse the mask from my hair, peel or rinse the mask from my face, and allow the water in the bottom to rinse my feet.

Step Eleven: I apply Suave Professionals Almond and Shea Butter Conditioner to all of my hair and clip up again.

Step Twelve: Scrub Body with a body scrub. I like Calgon Ageless Bath Body Scrub, and Giovanni Hot Chocolate Sugar Scrub with Crushed Cocoa Beans

Step Thirdteen: Rinse body. With a loofah, I wash my body with Dove Deep Moisture Nourishing Body Wash (i love this body wash, no residue at all!).

Step Fourteen: Rinse body and hair (while rinsing hair i brush it out).

Step Fifteen: Get out and twist hair into a towel, apply a lotion to body (i always use Bath and Body Works Triple Moisture Body Creams a few of my favorite scents being Beautiful Day, Sweet Pea, Forever Sunshine, Blackraspberry Vanilla, and Pure Paradise). Wrap up in a towel.

Step Sixteen: At my vanity ill have a plastic container with warm water in it, i will add Avon Foot Works Healthy Restorative Milky Foot Soak, and let my feet soak.

Step Seventeen: While soaking my feet i will apply a toner to my face, depending on the products i used to wash my face, i will use Witch Hazel, Avon Clearskin Blackhead Eliminating Daily Astrogiant, or Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Stress Controll Triple Action Toner. Applied all over face and neck with a cotton ball.
Step Eighteen: After face is dry from the toner, i apply a face moisturizer to the face and the neck, starting at the dryest areas first. I may use Clinique Dramitically Different Moistuizing Lotion, Clean and Clear Acne Control Moisturizer, and Avon Nurtura Replenishing Cream.

Step Nineteen: Next, i use either a makeup remover wipe, or Germ-X to clease my hands from the products, and the bacteria from my face. After cleansing i will use a lip scrub (like the kinds from local beauty boutiques, Lush, or a DIY one) or a hard bristle toothbrush and use circular motions, and once fully exfloliated i use a lip balm (a few of my favorites are Softlips, Carmex, Nivea a kiss of moisture, Nivea a kiss of milk or honey, Chapstick, and C.O. Bigelow Rose Salve)
Step Twenty: I take my hair out of the towel wrap and apply a detangler generiously (my hair is crazy tangly and curly so anything to help is very much appriciated), a few that i like are Johnson's No More Tangles Detangler Spray, Not Your Mother's Knotty To Nice Conditioning Detangler, and Infusium 23 Leave-In Treatment 3 Moisture Replenisher. And brush, starting from the bottom and gradually moving to the roots.

Step Twenty-One: Again clean my hands. I take my feet from the plastic container, and apply either Avon Foot Works Beautiful Overnight Renewing Foot Cream or Avon Foot Works Healthy Maximum Strength Cracked Heal Cream.

Step Twenty-Two: Lay down, and relax!

I hope you all enjoyed this post, it took some time but i really enjoyed it! Please keep in mind i dont do this everyday, just the days i need it the most, or just have the time to relax. Some of the products are exspensive but please know there are alternatives to everything, and i am in no way telling you to go buy these products, these are just the products i like and products i choose to get with my money. I love luxury, and i love being pampered and im willing to spend my money and splurge on a few good products. If you need some tips on how to get better products for cheaper here are a few:

-Walmart has amazing clearance aisles, you just have to look for them. Alot of times they will have to completely clear it before inventory is counted so everything gets marked down even more and alot is only $1.

-Avon is always having incredible sales, i always shop the outlet first then check out the rest of the deals, i always find stuff i can use on a good sale

-Drugstores often have coupons you can use, i go to websites looking for different coupons to use in store, or even coupon codes to use online.

-Holidays are great for getting really good deals, if its a holiday stuff is guarenteed to be marked down!

-Kohl's is one of my favorite stores to shop, everything is on sale!

-Outlets such as Burkes, Burlington Coat Factory, and Allcosmeticswholesale.com are wonderful to get stunning deals!
