Ariel's Eyelook (The Little Mermaid)!

 Hello everyone!
I hope you all are having a wonderful week! Today I wanted to share with you all one of my Disney Princess looks... how about The Little Mermaid!? I love Ariel, she may not be my favorite Princess but she is definitely my 3rd! With this particular look I really wanted something natural almost like a seashell. I know, I know "look at this stuff isn't it neat, wouldn't you think my collections complete, I've got blushes and brushes a plenty, I've got matte and metallics galore. You want lipstick?  I've got 20, but who cares, I want more".... Oh that's not the song? My mistake. Any who... I really loved this makeup look and I think its perfect for several different occasions.

Face:

Flawless Face Routine: I have been wearing this non-stop when I wear full face make-up! Its so simple, pretty and stunningly flawless!

Eyes:

  • Urban Decay Primer Potion: I switch between eye shadow primers pretty regularly and for the time being I have really been liking this particular primer. I definitely find that I have a love/hate relationship with it though.
  • Avon Precision glimmer reflect precision in Dune: I'm sure this is a discontinued product (I haven't seen it on the Avon website). But any champagne shade will do, I applied this with the same finger used to apply the primer with. I really like the brightness, shimmer, and eye enhanced vibe it gives. It is so incredibly pretty but not very pigmented. I have to apply about 2 or 3 coats to get the shade I desire.
  • Covergirl Eye Enhancer trio in Shimmering Sands: I used the deepest shade in this trio and placed it in the crease with my favorite brush, Urban Decay Shadow Brush. I then blended it out with the ELF Blending Brush and applied more of the deep brown shade in the outter-v to give much more definition.
  • Urban Decay Virgin Eyeshadow: I have been using this quite a bit lately as a highlighting shade. Usually I reach for my shimmery shades to highlight with but I thought this was really nice for this look. I applied with ELF Eyeliner brush to get a precise line.
  • L.A. Colors Black/Brown Automatic Eyeliner: I really like this little eyeliner. I purchased it on a whim at the Dollar Tree months ago and loved it. It isn't too dark for my porcelain skin and it makes the blue in my eyes really pop! I tightlined and waterlined my eyes with this.
  • Maybelline Falsies Flared Mascara: I first applied this to give my lashes a good bit of volume and put a second coat on to make the lashes thicker.
  • Covergirl Lash Blast Volume Mascara: I used this to separate my lashes and extend them.
 LIPS:

  •  Revlon Lip Butter in Cupcake: I love the formulation of this lipstick and love the look it gives and I do like this lipstick with this look but I think a nice red would have looked nice too.

   XOXO,

     Kayla

Birthday Haul!

Hello Everyone!
I hope you all are having an amazing week! I know I am having a pretty busy week this week! As we all know it has been homecoming at my school and I have been asked to show more pictures with you all! I said i'd love to... Wednesday was Mickey/Minnie and Prince/Princess day!
Hannah was Minnie Mouse and I was Cinderella!

Isn't she just too cute!

Devon was Prince Charming!

I will have more homecoming pictures coming up in the next blog but on to my birthday haul! I did buy some stuff for myself but I got a lot given to me and I am very thankful for all of it. I had an amazing 18th birthday that I celebrated for 3 days! I am very thankful for the family and the friends I had time to spend with!

L.A. Colors Glitter Lipgloss in Pink: I bought this at the Dollar Tree and hesitated for a while but kept thinking and thinking about how pretty this would be for Christmas! It is more of a red tinted lip gloss with gold and green glitter, and it feels nice on the lips rather than sticky and gritty like most of the brands lipglosses.

Cluster Bracelet: My mom got me this, I had been wanting one and wanting one and she ordered me one! I love it and wear it every day!

Pearl and Bow Earrings: I bought these myself, I thought they were too cute and they were only $4.99 at Burkes Outlet! I have worn them almost every single day since buying them!

Cross Beaded Bracelet: My granny got me this bracelet. It is a silver cross with pink rhinestones (Pink is my birthstone and my favorite color) with pink beads. I adore it and stack it on top of the cluster bracelet my mom gave me!

No Boundaries Mary Jane shoes: My mom bought these for me, and I adore them! They have a 1 inch heel with little bows on the toe of the shoe.
Expressions Polka Dot Wedges: I bought these because I honestly just thought they were way too cute to live without but I totally forgot where I purchased them!

Heart Key Necklace: A super nice lady from my church bought this for me. I love keys and I think this is stunning! I wear it everyday because it means a lot to me.

DressBarn Blue Flower Dress: I bought this dress at the Goodwill for $6.50. I needed it for Wednesday's dress up day and actually turned out to like it.

Worthington Top: I got this at the Goodwill too! For $.50! I think it is very flattering and so incredibly cute, you might recognize this from Tuesday's dress up as the Queen of Hearts.

Relax T-shirt Dress: My mom got this for me. It is another one of those incredibly comfortable dresses that I will wear to death!

Tinkerbell PEZ: Okay, how long has it been since you've seen these? My daddy got me this knowing I love Tinkerbell.

Gardenia Scented Bath Fizzer: I purchased this for myself from the Dollar Tree. I really wanted to have a relaxing bath and I love these little things.
Dairy Queen Oreo Blizzard Ice Cream Cake: Who doesn't want an ice cream cake for their birthday?

L.A. Colors Automatic Eyeliner in Black/brown: I purchased this from the Dollar Tree because I have been wearing this eyeliner a lot because it isn't too harsh against my pale skin, but it still appears black.

Crystal Air Freshener in Berry Blast: I wanted something for my bathroom that smelled nice and I liked the idea of these little guys. I purchased these from the Dollar Tree.

Luminessence Pumpkin Pie Scented Candle: I have way too many candles... but what is one more? I have like 3 or 4 pumpkin pie candles but I love pumpkin pie and I love autumn! I purchased this from the Dollar Tree.

Fire and Ice Decorative Candle: My uncle purchased this from Kohl's (if you are interested in purchasing the candle it's $16.99) it is so pretty! Very beaded.

Taylor Swift Wonderstruck/Enchanted Wonderstruck Travel sized perfume: My mom bought this for me because she knew I have been wanting Taylor Swift Enchanted Wonderstruck Perfume, but to make sure I liked it she got me this which also came with a $5.00 coupon!

Real Birthday Turn-Ons: From Sephora! I will have reviews on both products.

Too Faced Jingle All The Way Limited Edition Palette: This contains 11 eyeshadows, 1 blush, and 1 bronzer. This was $25, and a birthday gift to myself! Will have a review.

Sephora Samples:
Dior NUDE BB Crème- Will have a review!
Smashbox Liquid Halo- Will have a review!
Guerlain Lingerie Foundation- Will have a review!

I hope you enjoyed this! If you want a review on anything let me know!

P.S. I apologize for not posting much. I have many posts in plan, but life is pretty hectic right now. I am behind in my access classes and band is killing me. I hope you all understand! Love Lots!

Walt Disney World!

Hello Everyone!
I have a crazy week ahead of me so I decided to do a really small blog post that might just turn out to be very long! Everyone, by now, knows I am going to Walt Disney World after my graduation, and I am super excited about it! So today I decided I would talk a little about the trip, if not everything!
***To be quite honest I just felt like blogging so I'm just typing away today***

When will we be leaving?
I graduate Friday, May 30, 2014, and because I have a lot of family coming from other areas I plan on staying in Alabama on at least Saturday and possibly Sunday as well so I can attend church. So we may be leaving Sunday or Monday. I am thinking Monday but we may leave Sunday. Meaning we will not be going to the park until Monday or Tuesday.

Where will we be staying?
We will be staying at The Floridian Hotel and Suites. I chose this particular hotel because of several reasons: 1) I will be attending college in the fall and that will be expensive even with scholarships, and this was a cheaper route to go. 2) We will have 5 people coming along with us (Momma, Daddy, Granny, Brandon -brother-, and Me) so room and enough space is important. 3) We really wanted a hotel with a microwave and refrigerator so we could bring food that is refrigerated and microwaveable to cut back on the cost.

What parks will we be going to?
Magic Kingdom (2 days)
Epcot
Hollywood Studios
Animal Kingdom

Typhoon Lagoon

Blizzard Beach

Have any outfits picked out yet?
Yes! In a later post I will show these outfit but my outfits consist of red shorts, black and pink shorts, black and gray shorts, gray and pink shorts, and black shorts/ Family shirt in white, family shirt in blue, Class shirt, Homecoming shirt, and Winnie The Pooh shirt. But here is a few hints...

What else will you be bringing?
Skincare items, cross body purse, makeup, food, and such as that

HOPE YOU ENJOYED!
BY THE WAY... this week is HOMECOMING...
